WARRI WOLVES  VS KADUNA UNITED - Warri

The Seasiders are anxious to take their own pound of the flesh when they host the Crocodiles at the Warri Township Stadium on Sunday.

Warri Wolves that succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat at Kaduna United in the first stanza will after the Federation Cup exit focus on kicking-off the remainder of the season on a winning note against Kaduna United.

On the other hand, Kaduna United are not facing the best of time as they have made little or no changes since the break but will be hoping to give Paul Aigbogun's wards a good fight.

BAYELSA UNITED VS CROWN FC - Benin

The Restoration boys would strive to improve upon their first stanza’s outing with a comprehensive victory against the Ajilete boys at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin on Sunday.

Bayelsa United and Crown FC both played out a 2-2 all draw in a Week 19 encounter in Ibadan in the first leg and would slug it out in a reverse fixture for maximum points.

The hosts are yet to taste a league win in their last four matches since 1-0 win over Akwa United on May 21, while Crown FC are yet to pick an away point this season.

Both hosts and visitors shares the same points 24 from same 19 matches but Bayelsa sit above Crown in 16th position on goal difference.


ABIA WARRIORS VS NASARAWA UNITED - Umuahia

The Ocendo Warriors must make use of home advantage to consolidate on their continental place bid against the visitors in a top table clash at the Umuahia Township Stadium in Umuahia.

Ladan Bosso’s wards despite their 3-1 defeat in Lafia still finished the first stanza on the high, a meteoric rise they will be desperate to hang-on to when they welcome Nasarawa United.

Similarly, Baba Ganaru's side would remain in top spirit to restart the second half the way they ended the first and could be out for a shocker in Umuahia.

Heartland would anticipate continuing their impressive away form to give their league campaign a major boost.

SUNSHINE STARS VS NEMBE CITY – Akure

AKWA UNITED VS SHARKS - Uyo

The Promise Keepers would embrace the opportunity to reactivate their title ambitions with maximum points against the Blue Angels at the Uyo Township Stadium on Sunday.


Akwa United won 1-0 at Sharks in Port Harcourt can compound the woes of the Gbenga Ogunbote in race for title with a home triumph in the Akwa Ibom capital.

Sharks would aspire for their first win in last four games and avenge their home defeat to Patrick Udoh’s side before the break.

Hosts Akwa United are 8th on the table with 28 points, while visiting Lobi Stars are Sharks 4th with 30 points from 19 matches.


DOLPHINS VS BAYELSA – Port Harcourt

The Pride of Rivers will hope for a victory in their biggest test in a bid to win a double this season as they welcome the league leaders at the Liberation Stadium on Sunday.
Stanley Eguma’s side are currently in the last 4 of the Federation Cup and would want victory at all cost to close in Kano Pillars at the top after they were spanked 3-1 in Kano before the break.

ENUGU RANGERS VS EL-KANEMI WARRIORS - Enugu

The Flying Antelopes hope for revenge against visiting Borno Armies at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu on Sunday.

Enugu Rangers suffered a 1-0 loss at El-Kanemi Warriors need an outright victory to bring their fast-fading league campaign to life.

Enugu Rangers have 24 points from 19 matches in 16th position, while El-Kanemi Warriors are 12th with 26 points from same league games.


GIWA VS ENYIMBA - Jos

FC TARABA VS GOMBE UNITED - Jalingo

The Pride of Jalingo could return to the top half of the table should they resume with a crucial home victory over the Savannah Scorpions at the Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo on Sunday.

Taraba FC suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Gombe and must display winning mentality to restart their NPFL campaign with victory in the reserve fixture against Gombe United.

Visiting Gombe United would leverage on their seven fresh signings - though will miss the exit of its Belgian coach Maurice Cooreman in quest to spark suprises in Jalingo in race to preserve a topflight spot.
