Manhunt after woman found decapitated

NEWS 24
Johannesburg - Gauteng police are searching for a Turffontein man after his girlfriend was found dead in their house.
"We are looking for the man to assist us in the investigation of the murder," spokesperson Warrant Officer Lorraine van Emmerik said.
According to The Star, Winette Nyamakari was found by her mother lying in a pool of blood at her boyfriend's house. She had been decapitated with a grinder and her partner Alex Thomas was nowhere to be found.
Winette's mother Portia said the last time she saw her daughter alive was on 24 June when Thomas had gone to their workplace and asked that Winette be given the day off as he wanted them to go somewhere.
"That Wednesday he called to ask me to fetch their son from crèche, but they didn't come to pick him up later," she told the paper.
Portia and her husband went to Thomas's house. She found the door open and the house appeared to have been ransacked.
Portia said she saw droplets of blood and followed the trail.
She found her daughter's body covered in a blanket.
"When I removed the blanket, she was naked from the waist down and her head was hanging on the edge of the bed," she said.
