Obiano Appoints Special Adviser From Hausa Community

In the spirit of the celebration of the Eid El Fitri, the Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano, has announced the appointment of a Special Adviser from the Hausa Community.
For the very first time in the state, the special adviser will be advising the governor on matters concerning the Hausa people living in the state.
This was made known when the Hausa community came to pay homage and pray with the governor to mark the Eid El Fitri celebration at the governor’s lodge in Amawbia.
The leader of the delegation, Sule Momodu, explained to the governor the reason for their visit which was to identify with him in their celebration and also to pray for continued peace and tranquility in the state. he  emphasised that since the governor’s assumption of office, there had been peace and security.
The governor commended them for their comportment in the state and urged them to continue to live peacefully with the people of the state while being vigilant in their places of residence.
He also charged them to keep preaching peace and shunning division for continued peaceful coexistence.
The governor formally announced the appointment of a Special Adviser from amongst them and asked the leader of the delegation to forward their choice personality to him for confirmation and appointment.
