Oshiomhole Urges FG To Review Expatriate Quota

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has asked the Federal Government to review expatriate quota as a means of reducing the nation’s unemployment burden.
The governor said this while speaking during a visit to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Sen. Chris Ngigie.
According to him, there is a huge influx of foreigners in Nigeria doing menial jobs which are supposed to be done by Nigerians, especially in the construction companies.
Oshiomhole also urged the government to re-activate the Federal Government Labour Data Centres in other to capture the true statistics of the employed, unemployed and expatriates in the country.
