Security Assure Plateau Residents Of Hitch-Free Yuletide

The Special Task Force in Plateau State has assured residents of the north central state of a hitch-free yuletide celebration.
Commander of Operation Safe Haven, Maj. Gen. Tagbo Ude, said security has been beefed up in the State following threats by insurgents to disrupt the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
He said the Special Task Force reinforcing the security network with constant patrol and mounting check points across the state capital.
Maj. Gen. Tagbo Ude urged members of the force not to relent on their efforts in ensuring that security of lives and property during the yuletide is maintained according to the mandate of Operation Safe Haven.
He added that security check points have also been mounted at strategic places while foot patrol has been increased within the metropolis with motor parks, worship centres and recreation centres under security checks.
The Special Task Force is a combination of the Military, Air Force, Police, Naval as well as members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
