Yobe Government Employs 92 Nurses

The Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam, has approved the engagement of 92 nurses who graduated recently at the state school of nursing and midwifery in Damaturu the state capital.
The employment of the 92 nurses is contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Damaturu by the state Head of Service, Alhaji Dauda Yahaya.
The statement which said “the employments are with immediate effect” also said that the engagement of the medical personnel is aimed at strengthening the health care system in the state.
It also said that the employed nurses would be deployed to man the recently upgraded health care centres across the state.
“The immediate employment of the 92 nurses who graduated recently at the Shehu Sule School of Nursing and Midwifery in Damaturu the state capital is aimed at getting the required staff that will man the recently upgraded hospitals spread across the state thereby strengthening the health care system,” the statement read.
It urged the engaged staff to put in their best as the government would maintain its determination towards repositioning the health care system in the state.
