Governor Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa State has ordered the removal of illegal structures around the new Karu International Market, ahead of its commissioning by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr Al-makura gave the order while on an inspection visit to the market located in Maraba.
He pointed out that the illegal structures, when removed, would pave way for free flow of traffic along the Abuja-Keffi expressway.
Governor Al-makura, who advised roadside traders overflowing from the orange market, to apply for space at the market, said that his administration would ensure a clean environment around the market for conducive business activities.
