APC, PDP React To Osinbajo’s Helicopter Crash Survival

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reacted to the helicopter crash involving Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in Kogi State.
With 13 days to the general elections, both parties put aside their political differences to rejoice with the Vice President and the crew members who came out of the crashed chopper unhurt. The Nigerian Air Force helicopter conveying Professor Osinbajo had crash-landed at the Kabba Township Stadium earlier on Saturday.
The incident was said to have occurred when the propeller of the chopper suddenly pulled out at the stadium.
In a series of tweets hours later, the APC thanked God the Vice President was safe and sound along with his aides. It also prayed for continuous safety of its leaders as well as the progress of the nation and its people.
The PDP, on its part, rejoiced with Professor Osinbajo in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan. The main opposition party also called for a thorough investigation into the incident, stressing that the safety of the people and their leaders must always be guaranteed.

PDP Expresses Shock Over Crash of Osinbajo’s Helicopter The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expresses shock over the crash of the helicopter carrying Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, in Kabba, Kogi state, on Saturday.
The PDP thanks God for the safety of Vice President Osinbajo, members of his entourage and the crew. The party however called for a thorough investigation into the traumatic incident adding that the safety of our leaders, and of course, all Nigerians, must be guaranteed, especially at this critical time. The PDP urges all Nigerians irrespective of creed, ethnicity and political affiliation, to continue to pray for God’s continued intervention in our national life.
