The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, Senator Emma Nwaka, has given kudos to the aspirants who participated in the State House of Assembly primaries over the manner they conducted themselves peacefully.

While announcing the results of the primaries at the PDP Secretariat in Umuahia, he urged those who have any form of complaint or grievances to direct it to the appeal panel and encouraged those who lost out to continue to support the party because they have an agenda for everybody.
The PDP Chairman also suggested that this was not the time to make the mistake of leaving to join another party as the means of expressing their displeasure.

About 160 aspirants contested for the 24 seats of the State House of Assembly on the platform of PDP during the primaries and only seven former members were returned while the remaining 17 members are new comers.
