Vice-chairman Karren Brady announced on Monday that the club were offering to replace jerseys bearing the Marseille player's name for a fee Football fans have hit out at West Ham and vice-chairman Karren Brady after the club offered to replace Dimitri Payet shirts for a £25 fee.

The France international has completed a £25 million move to Marseille and will be a presented as a new player at the club on Monday afternoon. And seemingly believing they were going out of their way for their supporters, Brady tweeted to reveal that fans could take back their unwanted Payet shirts and purchase a different jersey at a reduced price.
With adult shirts, minus printing, on West Ham's official club website currently on sale at £36.66, supporters would, in theory, make a saving of £11.66 if they decided to buy a new jersey to replace their Payet version.
But a number of supporters are not impressed with the gesture from the Hammers, believing they are ripping off their supporters and that they should even offer to change the shirt for free.
West Ham face Manchester City at the London Stadium on Wednesday as they look to pick up their third league win on the bounce. Indeed, the Irons have coped without Payet in their last two matches, although the Frenchman did feature as a second-half substitute in the 5-0 drubbing at the hands of City in the FA Cup on January 6.
