Over 3,000 IDPs Relocated To Yola Camp

More than 3,000 out of the over 12,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) deported from Cameroon have been settled into the IDPs camp in Yola, Adamawa State capital.
The displaced persons were evacuated from an abandoned brick factory by the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) and taken to the camp in Yola.
On arrival at the camp, the displaced person were documented and provided with relief materials.
The Director, Search and Rescue in the agency, Commodore Charles Ofegede (Rtd) gave a breakdown of the exercise, but not everyone agreed with him.
Some of the displaced persons also shared their experiences while in Cameroon.
On their part, the security operatives deployed for the exercise identified seven persons out of the returnees for questioning.
