The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented a Certificate of Return to the re-elected Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade.
Presenting the certificate to him on Saturday at the INEC headquarters in the state was the National Commissioner in charge of Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Edo States, Dr. Mustapha Mohammed Lekky.
The elated governor expressed gratitude to the people of the state who voted him back for a second tenure.
He also used the opportunity to state his determination to provide more effective governance to all, irrespective of party affiliation.
He then called for support from former governorship aspirants of other political parties, to create a comprehensive manifesto which will according to him, further aid the process of governance.
