Omisore Woos Residents As SDP Holds Mega Rally In Osun

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Iyiola Omisore, has asked residents of Osun State to vote for him come September 22, 2018.

Mr Omisore made the call on Thursday during a mega rally of the party held in Osogbo, the state capital.

The rally is to canvass for votes towards the forthcoming governorship election.

In attendance where officials and party faithful.

Mr Omisore asked residents of the state to vote for the party and ensure that their votes are not bought or rigged.

“We are going to monitor our votes by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

“We are going to ensure that our votes are not bought or rigged so at the end, I Omisore will be declared the governor of the state,” he added.

48 candidates from various political parties will contest in the September 22 governorship election in the state.

Omisore is to face candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola; Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),  Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate, Adeoti Olalekan, among others.
