Twenty-five people have been reported killed when suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Kuda-Kaya village in Madagali Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State.

They added that some residents were already packing their belongings to leave their homes because of fear of any reoccurrence of the incident.
The immediate past chairman of Madagali LGA, Yusuf Muhammed, told Channels Television that no fewer than 25 people were killed by the insurgents.
He, however, said the military came in later after the damage had already been done.
Mr Muhammed called on the Federal Government to urgently do something about Boko Haram attacks and secure the lives and properties of the people.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Othman Abubakar, also confirmed the incident to Channels Television.
He said the police Command received information that there was an attack on Kuda village but could not confirm the number of those killed.
Abubakar, however, gave assurance that the situation was calm and security operatives had been deployed in the area.
Madagali has suffered several attacks by the insurgents since 2019, claiming several lives with many others displaced.
